Aside from being a member in good standing with the CKC, I'm also a member of The Battle River Canine Association in Camrose, AB. This all breed club never fails to put on a spectacular show twice a year (March and October).
Recently I've also become a member of the Poodle Club of Canada (PCC) and the Poodle Club of Alberta (the other "PCA" haha).
After being involved in the sport of dogs for more than 3/4 of my life, I felt it was time to step up and share some of my knowledge with other breeders and allow some opportunities to learn from them as well.
As a breeder one can never quit learning. When you think you know it all, that's when you'll fail. Always keep learning and evolving with your breeding program. The breed, grooming, showing, health testing and breeding techniques evolve over time. To not be open to learning, limits your kennel's opportunity to grow.
