"Mia"

Mia (pronounced My-a) was a spitfire from day 1.  Nothing much bothers her and she definitely thinks she's a bigger dog than she is.  She's got ATTITUDE!  But all good show dogs do.

Mia lovingly owns her own human Cora Whitford.  Cora is a master stylist, colorist and owner of her hair salon in Sherwood Park (Legendary Hair Lounge), and has eagerly taken on the task of maintaining and learning how to "poodle".  I look forward to teaching Cora the skills of poodle grooming.

Mia made her dog show debut at the Saskatoon Kennel and Obedience Club in Sept 2022 at 10.5 months of age.  She was awarded Winners Bitch all days including Best of Opposite Sex over Specials 2 of the days, ending the weekend on 5 points.  3 weeks later at the Lloydminster kennel club, Mia was Winners Bitch twice and Best puppy in Breed over a special, for another 3 points.  She acquired Winners bitch in Red deer ending on 9 points total. 

 

Mia attended the Prince Albert show between Christmas and new years 2022 where she obtained her Canadian Championship by winning winners bitch and best of winners for her final points!!!

 

Mia while sporting her English Saddle trim (and rocking it) finished her Grand Championship in Oct 2023.  She did this all handled by her human Cora and did so by winning BEST OF BREED at a show this summer, over a strong line up of specials.

Mia's health testing is complete and we are just waiting on her DNA results.  Providing that everything is good to go, she will be bred in fall 2024.
